Kush CBD hemp flower is a hybrid of Pre98 Bubba Kush and Elite Hemp. Ours is cultivated by Sovereign Fields via Hemp Worldwide under light-deprivation to provide an indoor-quality CBD-rich hemp flower. Our lush green Kush hemp flower contains approximately 15% CBD with less than 0.3% delta-9-THC.

The Kush hemp strain retains the flavors and aromas of its famous lineage. It is fruity, citrusy, slightly sour and gassy, and earthy.

The geographic region known as the Hindu Kush is a disputed area bordering on Pakistan and Afghanistan. This region is famous for its production of cannabis and hash in the fertile hills of the Himalayan mountains. The most resinous indica strains from this region made their way to North America and Europe through travelers of the Hippie Trail in the 1960s and 1970s. Unfortunately, conflict in the region now prohibits travel to the region.

The indica dominant genetics of cannabis from the Hindu Kush region impressed cannabis growers with the shortened flowering time and short bushy stature that was perfect for indoor cultivation. Kush varieties also became a favorite for their potent long-lasting effects, citrus flavor, and skunky odor.

Where Haze strains are dominant in sativa hybrids, Kush strains top the indica world. Surprisingly, the indica vs sativa line has been blurred and sativa-dominant Kush strains now exist. Not all Kush genetics are referred to as such. Some are named for the OG variety of Kush, or have entirely different names like White Widow.

Through its extensive breeding and selection of special varieties, it was possible to create a version of the Kush strain that meets the legal US definition of hemp. Our CBD Kush hemp flower has been praised by our reviewers who appreciate its help in supporting health discomforts.

Kush CBD hemp flower is a no-high take on a classic marijuana strain. Please consume responsibly and bear in mind it could easily be mistaken for its ancestors.

    Even better the 2nd time

Posted by Joe Dalton on Mar 17th 2020

I reviewed The Indoor Kush in February and reported that I didn't feel this strain was as effective as Sour Space Candy. I try strains by themselves and mix them with others to see what works best for me. I felt this Kush deserved a second look.
In setting up my own guidelines and blend ratios that I could reproduce for each flower strain to make comparisons, I didn't consider an adjustable variable; therapeutic dose. I am revisiting the Kush, CBG, and THC blend and modifying the dosage in my vaporizer to see if the Kush flower can be as effective or better than the successes I achieved with the SSC blend.
My prolonged chemotherapy often makes the side effects more pronounced and for a longer duration at different times during my chemo cycle. I began the revisit of the Indoor Kush CBD flower a week after chemo during a particularly challenging time. I had already experienced two bad days of approaching a UC flare with cramping, increased frequency, pain, inflammation and slight bleeding. The period of usual nausea had resolved and doesn’t bother me at this period but I do have fatigue and joint and muscle aches. Maybe not the best time to retest the Kush considering previous results but here I go.
I increased the amount of Kush/CBG/THC blend in my vaporizer by 50% beyond the amount of Sour Space Candy blend and increased the amount of THC flower by 50% as well. I increased the THC feeling that I could use a deeper level of relaxation right now. I vaporized two doses four hours apart each day.
On day one I’m reminded of the nice, rich fragrance of the Kush flower. I felt the deep level a relaxation I was seeking but only minor symptom relief.
On day two I have no muscle, joint or gut pain, frequency has diminished by half and I don’t seem to have any spasms but quite a lot of gut noise.
Throughout the week I felt that inflammation has subsided with no further discomfort or noise. The increased THC provided the calming effect I needed as compared to the chemo fatigue that I usually fight but I didn’t feel couch locked. Overall, by increasing the dosage, the Kush blend has become another effective favorite. I had considered taking a break from testing other strains and was planning to go back to my Sour Space Candy blend in order to regroup and recover but have decided to stay with the Kush blend instead for this cycle. I learned a lot during this retest and will keep this Kush blend available. We all deserve to feel better.

    Exceptional!

This was my first time ordering from Plain Jane. Upon reading the reviews, I decided to go with the kush. I must tell you, that's a hell of a way to make a first impression! This flower is great on its own & play nice with other hemp strains, too. Very much a "body" strain, with good pain relief & relaxation. Looking forward to trying more from Plain Jane soon. But I will definitely order this one again. Love it.

Never smoked a indica dominant kush.Last evening as the sun was setting I sat down and vaped. This is a Very relaxing strain.Stess, pain, anxiety all completely gone and in its place emerges me feeling like a monk meditating in a serene forrest.I wasn't tired but more so calm and reflective and thought provoked.I lost track of time so I couldn't tell you how long I sat in that chair. Its not that I couldnt get up but I didnt want to leave this place ; not yet. I was inspired to write books and hug my wife and children and tell them I love them.I never got so much accomplished in a chair.Sometimes doing nothing is better than doing something?Smooth smoke, taste is really nice, and effects well you get it.PJ keep strains like this and Golden cherry always in stock please.

    High quality flower

Posted by Joe Dalton on Feb 18th 2020

I am a cancer patient also with ulcerative colitis. The chemo aggravates my UC but I am unable to take effective drugs to treat the UC as they may may interfere with the chemo. I have typical chemo side effects nausea, fatigue, muscle and joint pain and UC symptoms of gut pain and spasms, urgency and inflammation. I vaporize CBD flower and test different strains to look for symptom relief and better quality of life. Here’s my experience with Kush CBD Indoor.
As with all of the flower I have tried from Plain Jane, the quality is excellent and the buds are well trimmed and packaged.
My initial impression is that the flower is dense and sticky with a rich aroma; almost appetizing. When vaporized the taste is pleasant, slightly sweet and almost floral. Many people have reviewed Kush strains to be sedating and close to causing couch-lock. While I found this flower to be relaxing, I also felt it to be a clear, lucid experience that combatted chemo fatigue. I initially noticed a mild face buzz that became a stimulating chest buzz after about 30 minutes.
I tried the Kush by itself, mixed with CBG and with added flower containing THC. In all trials I vaporized the flower in the morning when my symptoms are strongest and had two doses 4 hours apart, filling the chamber in my my portable vaporizer about half full each time.
Using the Kush by itself, I felt that the Kush resolved nausea, continued to help with urgency and was helpful with gut noise and spasms but did not eliminate the symptoms completely. It was was mildly successful with gut and back pain but both were still present.
I mixed the Kush with a 13.5% CBG flower in a 1:1 ratio. The physical effects were stronger than with the Kush alone and lasted about an hour longer. My nausea was resolved quickly and had very little fatigue but I still had noticeable back, gut and joint pain. It was helpful but not enough so I switched on the 4th day after chemo to a blend of Kush with an  8% THC flower. This blend was more calming and restful than the Kush/CBG. My nausea was resolved but but my urgency and bowel frequency were not under control. I was also experiencing minor cramping and gut spasms so I switched to a blend of Kush, CBG and THC. I didn’t notice a major difference with this blend.
In retrospect, I should have increased the amount of flower I vaporized per dose to see if I could achieve a more therapeutic dose. I plan to do that and revisit my experiences with this flower and post a new review. Overall this is a very good product.
